Biblical Scenes Icons

The models presented in the pages of the section represent diferent, complex, miniatural icons on glass having diferent influences Byzantine, Gothic, Armenian, representing Biblical scenes.

The specific of these icons consist in the complexity of their work, characterized by fine details prezent in the models. The technique is the same as the one used for other icons on glass, as well as the use of the golde foil for accentuating some areas especialy the halos of the saints.

The frames are hand made out of  hard wood (beech, oak), patinated and treated using a procedure of aging in order give the authentic feel of the wood.
